Baked Oatmeal

This baked oatmeal is warm, hearty, and perfectly comforting, with a soft texture and just the right touch of sweetness. Made with wholesome oats and simple ingredients, it bakes into a satisfying dish that’s easy to slice and serve. Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
1 1/2 cups Quick Oats
1/2 – 3/4 cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg (optional)
3 Eggs
1/2 cup Oil
1 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Apples, peeled and chopped (optional)
1/2 cup Raisins (optional)
Instructions
Mix the first group of ingredients and set aside.
Beat the eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.
Stir in the dry ingredients, followed by the last 2 ingredients.
Bake in a sprayed Deep Dish pie plate or 9x9 pan, at 350F/175C for 40 minutes.
NOTE: The apples and raisins can be substituted with other fruits or dried fruit, to taste. You may like to add some seeds or chopped nuts. Also, if doubling the recipe, use only 5 eggs and you can bake in a 9x13 pan.
