Coconut Macaroons

Golden on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, these coconut macaroons are packed with sweet coconut flavor in every bite. Made with just a handful of simple ingredients, they’re easy to prepare and beautifully chewy with lightly toasted edges. Perfect for holidays, cookie trays, or an everyday treat, these classic macaroons are impossible to eat just one.

Ingredients
2/3 cup Flour
5 1/2 cups Flakes Coconut
1/4 teaspoon Salt
387 grams can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
Instructions
Mix the first 3 ingredients and set aside.
Stir the extracts into the sweetened condensed milk.
Pour the wet over the dry, and stir until well blended (you may need to use your hands).
On cookie sheet lined with foil, parchment, or Silpat scoop blobs of dough and bake at 325F/163C for 15-17 minutes.
Optional: 1 cup Chocolate Chips melted to dip the bottoms of some of the cooled cookies; or for drizzling over some of the cookies.
