Snickerdoodle Cookies

These snickerdoodle cookies are soft, chewy, and coated in a generous layer of cinnamon sugar. With their warm spice, buttery flavor, and classic crackled tops, they’re comforting and irresistible. Easy to make and perfect for sharing, these cookies are a timeless favorite that always disappears fast.

Ingredients
2 3/4 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Butter, softened
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
Instructions
Mix the first 4 ingredients and set aside.
Cream the next 3 ingredients until smooth.
Combine this mixture into the first.
Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl mix the last 2 ingredients and set aside.
In approximately 2 teaspoons portions roll the dough into balls and then roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Place on parchment paper about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 400F/205C for 8-10 minutes.
